For Earth Day, the Spring Glen Civic Association has invited WCA to partner with them and take part in a clean up of our two neighborhoods, including the two commercial areas and the Lake Whitney and Canal trail areas. It will be held over three days (April 24, 25 and 26) and a prize drawing is planned for those who participate. All that snow cover has melted to expose a fair amount of litter. See if you can coordinate with your neighbors, as well as any local community groups to which you might belong (e.g. book clubs, church groups, gardening clubs, scout troops) to go out on one of those days and help make our neighborhood cleaner and more beautiful!
